2. African Safari: Jacques Spamer of Hartzview Hunting Safaris in NW South Africa has donated a 10 day hunt for 2 hunters. Included in the hunt donation are trophy fees for 2 Blue Wildebeest, 1 Blesbuck, 1 Impala and 2 warthogs. All meals, lodging, beverages plus the services of a PH, trackers and skinners. The departure point for the safari is Johannesburg or Tembo International Airport. Not included in the donation are additional days and trophy fees, taxidermy, dipping and packing, alcohol and tips. 6. Masser Ranch of Fredericksburg, Texas’ owner Ted Masser has donated a ½ day upland game bird hunt for two hunters in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Hunt must be taken prior to February 1, 2011. Included in the hunt are guides, dogs and lots of birds. Not included is lodging, meals, Texas hunting license and beverages. Additional hunters may be added at the regular rate.
Carefully managed, portions of the Masser Ranch were opened to upland bird hunting in 1991. Approximately 500 acres of the ranch are dedicated to upland bird hunting offering open fields and pastures to produce a memorable shooting experience. The Masser Ranch maintains a kennel of well-trained pointers and setters. Both morning and afternoon hunts are available. Lodging and meals are available with advance reservations. Accommodations consist of a refurbished rock home originally constructed in 1893. Flag Creek bisects the ranch and rainbow trout fishing is available in season.
